Jennifer Lopez has announced she will be embarking on her first ever tour with husband Marc Anthony.

The couple will kick-start the dates - which will include shows in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico - on September 29 in Atlantic City.

They plan to perform together and separately in both English and Spanish. The pair previously collaborated at the 2005 Grammy Awards.

Anthony said: "Jennifer has never toured. I've toured all my life. This is where I can step in and say, 'Oh my god, this could be fun.'"

Proceeds from some of the ticket sales will go towards an initiative which is aimed at reducing childhood obesity in schools with a large Latino population.
