Kelly Osbourne to star in Chicago
1.39, Mon Jul 30 2007
Rock chick Kelly Osbourne will hit the West End stage to star in Chicago. The 22-year-old reality TV star will play prison matron Mama Morton. Kelly will be following in the footsteps of US rapper turned actress Queen Latifah who played the role in the film version and Alison Moyet from the stage production. Kelly, who is the youngest actress to take on the role, will join the cast at London's Cambridge Theatre for a seven-week stint from September 10 to October 27. The young celebrity was launched into stardom after appearing alongside her legendary hellraising father Ozzy, mother Sharon and brother Jack in the fly on the wall reality show, The Osbournes. But Kelly decided to step out on her own and forge a career in the world of pop music, topping the charts in 2003 with Changes, a duet with her father.
