Hollywood star Nicholas Cage and his son Weston Cage, have joined forces to create a comic book.

The Oscar-winning actor and his 16-year-old son, paired up to create the six-part series which features a dark theme, in line with the star's love of all things gothic.

Voodoo Child follows a teenager who was murdered 200 years ago but is then resurrected with special powers in New Orleans, following the Hurricane Katrina disaster.

The duo just debuted their creation at a comic exhibition in San Diego over the weekend, so it remains to be seen how popular it will be, but having a celebrity co-author probably won't do it any harm.

Meanwhile, it looks like the Ghost Rider actor will be leaving the Hollywood Hills and relocating to the English countryside.

The star recently splashed out almost £5 million on a 18th-Century castle near Bath.

Midford Castle is the latest property to be added to Cage's portfolio, worth an estimated £33 million pounds, which includes a private island in the Bahamas.

It is thought Cage and his family will make their move to Britain in the autumn, joining a host of other A-Listers who have set up home in the UK including Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
