Pop singer Jamelia has teamed up with international models Helena Christensen and Erin O'Connor to design a new haircare range. Famous hairdressers Toni and Guy have joined with the trio of beauties to design Model.Me, created for women with Afro-Caribbean hair, natural-looking styles, and short hair. Marks & Spencer model O'Connor, has cut her hair into a shocking new shape to launch the product which will be available in September. Jamelia, 26, said: "I think it's about time that there was a haircare range specifically designed for ethnic hair available on every high street." Christensen, 38, said: "After working in the modelling industry for many years, I know exactly what my hair needs, so it's great to have the chance to make my ideal products from scratch for others to benefit from too." O'Connor said: "Working in the fashion industry has enabled me to be a part of the creative process, to push boundaries, experiment with extreme styles, and explore the constantly evolving trends. My hair really is a huge part of who I am." Apr 25: Jamelia lands film roleMar 24: Jamelia speaks out on teen violence |
