Mel B has revealed she clashed with Eddie Murphy over his lifestyle before he dumped her. The Spice Girl, who discovered her relationship was over with the comedian when he appeared on a Dutch TV show last December, insisted three-month old baby Angel Iris was planned and that they had wanted to get hitched. She also said that Murphy must have been "hurt" by something she said for the comic actor to have publicly humiliated her when he denied he was the father of the baby. She said: "Oh, this was a completely planned pregnancy. This wasn't some random 'Oops I fell over and I'm pregnant'. When asked why she thought Murphy denied the baby was his, she said: "I'm a very independent woman so if you're trying to control me, that's not going to happen." She said the pair planned to move together to Malibu but "somehow things got confused along the way because there were certain things that went on in his house with his lifestyle that I wasn't prepared to be a part of". Mel B said they had a "trippy discussion" and "both refused to budge", but she thought the pair would iron out their differences on her return from London. The singer added that "what I said must have hurt" Murphy, "because the guy doesn't speak about his relationships". Mel B recently reunited with her former bandmates to announce a one-off Spice Girls comeback would tour. She has another daughter Phoenix Chi, aged eight, with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar.
